Comparing RGB and CMYK color modes

In this movie, I'd like to discuss, for just a few minutes, color modes, color spaces, because you may run into a variety of different color mode images, when you're working. And the two most common ones that you're going to run into are RGB and CMYK. You'll notice, underneath the Image menu, and Mode, is a variety of different color spaces that Photoshop allows us to work in. Index color, RGB color, CMYK color, LAB color. Well, we could spend a whole course just talking about color spaces. In fact, there are a whole course devoted to color spaces! Two that you're most likely to run into are RGB and CMYK. Alright? For our purposes, working inside of Photoshop and doing color correction, RGB is going to be the color space of choice. And here, just to show you the difference between the two.
