- Now that we have both of our images looping it's time to move onto some color correction, or grading, to give it an unique look. Let's save our work here. And I'll take advantage of adjustment layers. Remember, adjustment layers affect everything down below. So now I can invoke an adjustment like a Curve. And using the On Image tool here it's very simple to click and make adjustments. If I pull down that area gets darker, or up to brighten. This makes it simple to really balance things out. Let's brighten those highlights a little on the beach. And that Curve has done a very nice job of bringing out some of the contrast. Additionally, an adjustment like Vibrance could be useful to richen the colors. Or you can add a Color Lookup table and from the pop-up menu here access an entire collection of Fuji and Kodak film stocks, which can be used to make a nice filmic image.
