I found that it is helpful to see this technique applied to a number of different images in a number of different skin types.…In this movie, we are going to be working on this file, jenny_kim.psd.…Go and open up this beautiful photograph, this was captured by a friend of mine, Jenny Kim,…who is a fashion photographer in New York, an amazing person.…What we want to do is color-correct this image.…So for start this, we need to pick a couple of sample points and in this case, I'm going to go ahead and set one…in the forehead here, make sure my Sample Size is something above 5 by 5.…
This is a small image been sized for the Web, so 5 by 5 would actually work well.…Then Shift+click to set up a point up there in the forehead, maybe one in the chin, alright that's pretty good.…Then we will go ahead and go to our Info palette and take those down to CMYK Color…by clicking on the eye dropper and choosing CMYK.…Now that we do that we see have a little bit of a problem in regards to our color relationships.…The recipe isnt happening for us; there's too much salt or there's too much something that we need to fix.…
