- [Instructor] The design phase of creating a website is fairly standard for most web designers. However, when it comes to presenting the mockup to the client before slicing and coding up the design, some problems can arise. Often clients are confused as to why you have multiple sizes, why the links don't function. So your job is to make this face of the project as streamlined and as clear as possible. Obviously, meeting face-to-face is the easiest and provides the least amount of opportunity for things to get misinterpreted. But these days, those face-to-face interactions are harder to come by, and more difficult to schedule in. So presenting the material and sharing it in a way that it's clear is really important. What I like to do is I like to create a PDF file and or send bitmap images that include not only the entire page, but also a picture of what sort of device that view pertains to.
