Choosing fonts

- [Instructor] Here are some key points relating to choosing fonts in Photoshop. I'll come to my layers panel, and we see I have a type layer. Now to change this, I could double click on the type layer to select the type, and I then have my different character formatting options on my tool options bar. But I find it harder to evaluate my choices when my type is in inverse video, as it is now. So instead, I prefer to just select the type layer with my move tool, and come to the character panel where I have the same choices. If I click into the font menu, I can change my font just by moving down the font menu and evaluate how these different fonts look, and then when I like one, I can just choose it, and in addition, I can use the font menu to filter in various different ways. I can filter by class, Serif, Slab Serif, Sans Serif, et cetera, I can filter by Typekit fonts, by favorite fonts, and you favorite a font just by clicking into its star to the left of its name, or by fonts that…
