Changing the extrusion method to inflation
- Here's our 3D lizard with a basic extrusion applied. Now, let's change that to the kind of extrusion that we really want. We can click to select it, and you can see these bounding boxes appear. If you press the V key, we now get this head-up control in the middle, and that allows us to change the extrusion, the taper, the bend, and the twist. First, we want to address the extrusion amount. We want to reduce that, so click in the middle and drag down, and that reduces the extrusion. We want to bring it down so the object is not completely flat, but just has a very small amount of extrusion to it. Something like that. Press V again, and now we get the second batch of controls. This is what we want. We want to inflate this lizard, and we can do that by just dragging up on the inflation icon, and the effect is as if it's blowing it full of air. Now, as well as the amount of the inflation, we can also control the angle of the inflation using this control. The preset is 45 degrees, and…
