Now that we have done some nice cleanup work, the next thing that I want to do…is work on dimension and shape.…So in order to do that, I really want to merge all that I have done together.…Now sometimes when you have layers with blending modes and whatnot, when you…merge down you will lose some content or it may become a little confusing.…So often when I am retouching this is what I like to do.…I like to click in my topmost layer.…Then press Shift+Option+Command+E on a Mac, Shift+Alt+Ctrl+E on Windows.…
Next I will click in this top layer.…Hold down the Shift key then click in my bottom retouching or cleanup layer,…then press to Command+E a Mac, Ctrl+E on Windows.…So essentially what we are doing is we are flattening everything to the top…and then also flattening it back down just to help out in case we do have any…blending modes or anything with lower opacity so that we have it all there together.…Okay, well let's name this layer cleanup, because this is basically all of our…simple cleanup work.…
