Changing the 3D method

There are many different methods for 3D, and it's going to depend upon the type of glasses or screen that you use. After Effects can work with virtually all types of 3D, whether you use active glasses, or projection methods for theaters, or the method that will work with web video. Let me show you. Simply select the Stereo Controls layer here, and take a look at the options. You'll notice a few choices. First up is the 3D Controls. Here, the convergence options and the settings have been put in for the cameras. Now these have been automatically set, but if you need to tweak it, you can take a look at the depth of the scene, and if you feature a particular area. Typically though, the 3D Controls should be left as is. What you want to tweak though is the 3D Glasses effect. This is where you could take a look at what's being used.
