Challenge: Fix a scanned image
- [Narrator] We've covered a lot of image repair techniques so, it's time for your first challenge of the course. Here's an image I shot of a marine biologist working on corals at the Australian Institute of Marine Science. I shot the picture on film and scanned it into the computer. Now, Dr. Hatch would like to use this image in a class presentation. I need you to fix the exposure problems with image. Clean up all the dust and dirt that was stuck on the slide, then crop it down to an appropriate aspect ratio for a wide-screen slideshow and improve on the overall composition. Use any and all of the tools and techniques that we've covered thus far. This challenge should take you less than about 10 minutes to complete. When you're finished, watch the next movie and I'll show you how I handle this image.
