Join Deke McClelland for an in-depth discussion in this video Camera Raw 9.5, part of Photoshop CC 2015 New Features.
- [Voiceover] Alright starting today,…March 16th of the year 2016,…we now have Camera Raw 9.5.…Which among other things, supports a dark interface.…But don't think that's all because there is more.…So to get a sense for what's going on here,…I've got this image to which I've assigned…Camera Raw as an editable Smart Filter.…So this is the original very low contrast image,…and this is the much improved image thanks to Camera Raw.…If I double click on the Camera Raw filter,…here inside the Layers panel, we will see…Camera Raw 9.5 or later, of course,…which now supports the dark interface.…
And that's great in my opinion…because it helps set off the image.…But if you're not so fond of things,…then of course you can just go ahead…and cancel out, and then go to the edit menu here on the PC,…on the Mac you would go to the Photoshop menu,…drop way down to the Preferences command,…it's not nearly so far down on the Mac.…And then choose Interface.…And you can select a different color theme,…such as the next brighter one, and then click OK.…
To start, Deke covers the June 2015 release of Photoshop CC. Tune in and learn how to apply multiply strokes, drop shadows, and other effects to a single layer; work with the new Glyphs panel; trade dynamically linked assets via the Library panel; create multiple artboards in a single document; and preview your designs directly on a mobile device.
