- [Narrator] For my last, and final tip in this course,…I want to highlight how we can work faster…by changing some of our core brush characteristics.…Now, there are a handful of tools…in Photoshop that are considered brushes.…We have the spot healing brush, the healing brush,…the brush itself, of course, the clone stamp tool.…And, whenever we select one of these tools,…let's say, for example, I select the brush tool,…I can position my cursor over the image,…and I get this overlay graphic, which is showing me…the size, and some of the characteristics of my brush.…
So, in order to demonstrate this, I'll create a new layer,…and I'll just name this new layer "brush demo."…And next, I want to talk about how…we can change these brush characteristics.…If we go up to the options bar,…we have the ability to change our size,…so I can choose a size here, and then we have hardness.…Let me show you what hardness is.…I'll make the brush a little bit bigger here, like that,…I'll click once, and you can see,…that's a brush without any hardness.…
