Brightening eyes and lightening teeth
- [Instructor] In the next few minutes, we're going to learn quick techniques to brighten a person's eyes and teeth in a portrait. We'll start with the teeth. I'll tap the L key and I want to make sure that I just have the regular lasso tool selected. And I'm going to draw a quick lasso around the teeth. You'll notice that I'm not being very precise here, but as long as there's not a lot of yellow in the skin tone or in the lipstick color, this will be just fine. Then I'm going to add a hue saturation adjustment layer by clicking on the adjustment layer icon at the bottom of the layers panel. Then, instead of changing the saturation for the master, in which case we would definitely need to make a better selection, I'll use the on-screen control. Now I can click in the teeth area and drag to the left in order to desaturate just the specific color range that I clicked on. We can see the saturation slider is changed and these…
