- On the screen we see one of my newest paintings. I completed this a few months ago and just showed it at Photoshop world this past week. What I want to do is show you how some of the pieces were created. Now, I want to come in a little tighter here right here on the light itself. We see that its got a lot of complexity to it. I'll show you that Illustrator was crucial for creating the basic shapes here. I have another file open which is the original headlight this is from the photograph that I took. That's what the headlight looked like. I need to use this as a guide to create all those little shapes inside the basic little prisms and stuff that are inside that glass. What i'm going to do is go in there and select that shape. I'm going to go in there and create a nice big shape like this. This is selection. I'll put it into position right about there. Yep that's about where it is. I'm going to kind of just pull it out a little bit. Pull this out there like that. This operation will…
