Creating Dreamscapes in Photoshop: Sci-Fi Tower

- [Voiceover] This dreamscape is gonna take us into the world of science fiction. Right here on the screen you see a tower, landing tower. It's inspired by one of the scenes in Star Wars. And all it is, is just a bunch of little pictures that have been put together. Here's the original of the tower. It's just a high rise somewhere in Peru, and it just caught my eye as being so unusually modern and unusual architecture. We're gonna retouch it a little bit. The landing pad is basically one of these rooftops, taken from a hotel room somewhere in the United States, not sure where.

For the tunnel, there's the convention center down in San Diego. Cloudy day, not a great shot but it's gonna be perfect for what we need for our little tunnels. And then there's of course this here. Now where does this fall into the whole scene? Well you're gonna see. But this is in Orlando, just a convention center again. I spend a lot of time in convention centers. And you can see how all these different pieces come together to form this using some of the features in Photoshop. You might say, well where'd the trees come from? The trees came from Photoshop itself.
