Join Deke McClelland for an in-depth discussion in this video Autocorrecting GoPro lens distortion, part of Photoshop CC 2013 New Features.
…In this movie, I'll show you how to automatically correct for…the barrel distortion associated with images captured with a GoPro camera.…Now as I record this, this feature happens to work with only a Hero…Three editions, whether you have a white…edition, a silver edition, or a black edition.…Right now I'm in the Bridge and I've selected this file called…scuba fins in the snow.jpg which I captured with a GoPro Hero 3.…I'll go ahead and right click on the file and choose open in Camera Raw.…
Because it's Camera Raw that's able to correct this image.…Next I'll switch over to the sixth icon in, lens corrections.…And I'll click on it.…And notice that we've got a profile tab right here…with this check box underneath it, enable lens profile corrections.…I'll go ahead and turn it on, and you can see that Photoshop…is automatically getting rid of that barrel distortion.…Now, most likely, all these options will be selected automatically…if you're working with this image, but if not, you can…change the make to GoPro and you would set the model…
