Attaching your head to the body

- [Instructor] This technique is particularly well suited for costume designers who need to put a photo of the actor in the illustration that they're drawing. But we don't want it to look like you just cut out the photo from a photograph and slapped it on. So let's add a few filters to it to get it looking a little more like an illustration, and then we'll put it on. All right, so here are the steps. We take our photo and I always like to duplicate it in order to have one clean one, just in case I make a mistake. Going to go to image, adjustments, and shadows highlights. And we want to bring the shadows up to maximum and the highlights to zero, and click OK. Then we're going to go to the noise filter. Filter, noise, reduce noise. And in this filter, we're going to put the strength all the way up to 10, but everything else is going to go down to zero. And click OK. We need to do that twice, but for the second time we can go up to filter, and just click reduce noise on top. And it's…
