Join Deke McClelland for an in-depth discussion in this video Assigning copyright and contact info, part of Photoshop CC 2017 One-on-One: Fundamentals.
- [Narrator] In this movie, we're going to start…with some information that might not seem…like the first thing you want to do.…But it actually is.…And that is, go ahead and include some…copyright and contact information along with your image.…And it's not so much to protect you.…Copyright is precarious protection at best.…But rather to serve as a kind of calling card.…Because you never know, there might be somebody…out there who sees your image, they're impressed by it,…and they might want to get hold of you.…So here's what you do.…You go up to the File menu,…and you choose the File Info command.…
And then make sure you're looking at the Basic panel.…And if you're not, you can click on the word Basic,…at the top of this left hand list.…Notice in the case of this image,…Author is already filled out.…And that's because I programmed this information…into my digital camera.…Which may be an option for you as well.…In which case, you should program…as much information into that camera as possible.…Alright now you can fill out a bunch of other information…
