Cinemagraphs are a very popular form of internet content. These can be either a high-end animated .gif or even a movie. Cinemagraphs are where the action is frozen, but parts of the image are still moving. How do you make one? In this video, author Richard Harrington assembles a project for a cinemagraph in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Let's explore the process of assembling a cinemagraph.…I like to do this in Premiere Pro believe it or not…'cause it actually has all of the tools that I need,…real-time video playback,…great tools for trimming video…and a complete solution for masking…to freeze certain parts of the image…and it even has an easy-to-use text engine.…Let's explore.…I've made a project called Cinemagraph_Start…that you can use that already has the video imported.…I've also included an End state…if you wanna compare your results to mine.…
Let's click Open.…In this case, the video file was already brought in.…Now, if you need to import a video file,…just choose File, Import…and you can navigate to that individual file…and bring it in.…In this case, this is the complete shot…of our teapot pour and you can see…there's parts of this that we don't want to see.…Additionally, we need to find a good part…where the water is flowing…and the teapot looks stable.…Let's press play to review our clip here.…
I see there's a little bobble…but that looks pretty good…
