- [Deke] All right let's talk about aspect ratio which is the relationship between the width and the height of the crop boundary. And so let's say I set in cropping the image again, but this time I'm not going to rotate it so it won't be a destructive modification at all. If I want to be able to move this boundary on the fly as I'm creating it, then I can press and hold the space bar and drag the boundary around. And then, when I want to set it down again, I release the space bar, at which point I am once again scaling the crop boundary. All right now let's say I make it thinner, like so, and I now want to maintain whatever aspect ratio this is. Again, that's the relationship between the width and the height. In that case, as I drag a handle, I would press the Shift key, as you see me doing right here.
