- Hi, I'm Jan Kabili for Photo Tools Weekly.…This movie continues our exploration of luminosity masking.…In the last movie, I showed you…how to create luminosity masks.…That's something you'll only have to do one time on one…photo if you record the process as an action as we did.…Now, let's see how we can run that action…on another photo to have Photoshop automatically…create luminosity masks here.…And I'll show you some ways to put luminosity masks…to work to adjust individual tonal areas of a photo.…I'll go to the Actions panel and here,…you can see my luminosity masking action…that I created in the last movie.…
I'll run this action on this photo…by going down to the bottom of this panel…and clicking the play button.…In just a second, Photoshop has made…six luminosity mask channels in the Channels panel…of this photo.…So the important point is that the action is not specific…to the photo on which you create it.…You can run a luminosity mask action on any photo…and it will create luminosity mask channels for that photo.…
