Join Chris Orwig for an in-depth discussion in this video Adjusting the eyebrows and final review, part of Photoshop CS5: Fashion Retouching Projects.
All right, we are making great progress on this project.…The next thing I want to take a look at is how we can work on the eyebrows…and also the cheeks.…YeT before we do so, let's organize our layers.…We'll click on the topmost layer, merge to top, Shift+Option+Command+E on a Mac,…Shift+Alt+Ctrl+E on Windows.…Click in that layer, hold down the Shift key, then click in the bottom layer…of your eye adjustment and press Command+E or Ctrl+E. We'll go ahead and name this layer eyes.…Now, one of the reasons why I like to merge the top and merge down, it's just…to reinforce those shortcuts because I feel like they are really valuable shortcuts.…
And two, it's really nice and easy to look at layers in this way, and in a…sense, it makes you feel like you're really good at Photoshop when you have…these nice and organized layers and you have all of your adjustments and you are…really kind of committing to them.…It can help you feel like you're approaching this from a bit more of a high-end…perspective versus as a hack or versus as creating everything in a messy way.…
