Adding transitions to the timeline

- Once you've got everything timed out, you could add some transitions. Now, some transitions will not affect the duration of clips. For example, if something fades in or out, or dips to a color. But if you use the cross dissolve transition, the two clips are actually overlapped, so this might affect the duration in the timeline. In this case, be sure to pay attention if things start to shift so you can adjust the duration of the clips as needed. Additionally if you'd like, you can go here to Transitions tab, and easily take advantage of other types of transitions. So, if you apply a fade, for example, you can drop that on the shot. Or you'll notice a Cross Fade here. However, some transitions shorten the length of the clips. So, in this case the two shots are overlapping, and all of my edits have slipped out of sync, so I'm going to choose Undo. Rather, rely on options here like Fade, or Fade with White, or Fade with Color. This'll make it simple, for example, to go in and out of…
