- Let's start to effect…how the clips blend with one another.…A transition allows you to mix one clip into the next.…Maybe it's a fade or a dissolve between clips,…or the ability to dip to a color.…Let me show you what's possible.…Let's put a few transitions here in our video.…To start I'm going to add a transition at the very beginning.…From the menu here, I can choose fade with black…and drop that onto the clip.…What you'll see now…is it does a gentle fade up when I press play.…
(wind blowing into microphone)…If I wanted, I can actually…adjust the duration by dragging that out,…or just simply clicking on it here with a right-click,…and I can choose to set the duration manually.…So here we have a nice slow fade up from black.…(crowd talking)…Let's create a blend between these next two clips…by using the crossfade.…
And I drop that between clips.…You'll notice when I do, everything adjusted a bit…and it pushed things down.…So when you do this, it might become necessary…to actually adjust the duration of the clips a little bit,…
