The next few steps that we will be taking in our project will be all about…adding some texture or mood or feeling to our photograph that we have here.…Here in this movie,…we will be adding some texture by way of using a filter which is called Fibers.…Now to work with this Filter, we need to have a layer of something on it.…So, let's copy our blurred layer here.…Click on the Blur layer and drag this to the new layer icon.…Then double-click that layer name.…Let's call this one Fibers.…Next, we'll navigate to our Filter pull-down menu.…Let's go to Render and then choose Fibers.…
When you click on the Fibers menu option it will launch this dialog,…which is kind of hard to understand actually because,…here I have these strange lines almost and then we have two controls.…Variance and Strength.…How do these work?…Well, if we increase the Strength,…what you're going to see is we have more straight up and down lines.…If we decrease that, we'll have a little bit less definition there.…With Variance, if we decrease variance it becomes a little but more abstract.…
