Adding speed motion with Path Blur (CC 2014)
In this movie we'll look at how we can add some speed or motion to this image. Working with the Path Blur filter. This project will all begin by converting our background layer into a smart object layer. You can do that by going to filter and choosing Convert for Smart Filters. Or you can also just right click or Control+Click on a layer. In this menu Choose convert to smart object. Double click the layer name, and let's name this layer Speed because that's what this project is all about. The next step is to navigate to our filter Pull-Down menu, and here we'll choose blur gallery, and then, path blur. In this path blur what I often like to do or with this path blur I like to click on the end points and just drag them around, and kind of get some ideas and. Get a little bit creative on how this might look. Sometimes, it can give you ideas, like wouldn't it be fun to have some blur extending off of the back edge of the subject there?
