Here we're going to continue to talk about how we can work with Radial Blur,…yet in this movie we'll focus in on how we can create a zoom blur effect, and…we'll be working with two different photographs, we'll start off with this picture here.…So let's go ahead and get close to this picture by zooming in a bit, press…Command+Plus on a Mac or Ctrl+Plus on Windows to do that.…Next, in order to save file size, I'm going to convert my Background layer to…a Smart Object layer.…To do that I'll use the shortcut that I mentioned previously, do you remember that one?…It's right-click or Ctrl-click and then choose Convert to Smart Object.…
The next step is to navigate to the Filter pulldown menu, here we'll choose…Blur and then Radial Blur.…In the Radial Blur dialog go ahead and select Zoom.…This then allows you to create a blur which has the zoomed in effect.…You can see the lines here which kind of show you how this might work, yet my…opinion this dialog, it's really antiquated, it's really hard to work with so…
