Adding an object to a 3D scene

In this movie, we're going to create a more elaborate scene by adding a ring around our sphere. In that way the two objects will interact with each other. I'll go and switch over to my image in progress here. And you want to start by clicking on the word scene here inside the 3D panel. Because that way the scene will remain targeted and we won't run the risk of harming the mesh, which is the sphere. So, I'll just go ahead and click on the word scene and then I'll go to the fly out menu in the upper right corner of the 3D panel. I'll click on it, choose add objects> Choose add mesh preset and then choose ring from this list of meshes that photoshop can create automatically for you. And that'll bring up this rather confusing dialog box. Fortunately, you can just ignore it by clicking on the OK button. And that way you'll just let Photoshop do it's thing because it's very difficult to know how big 3D objects should be when you add them to a scene. Notice in our case, the ring is…
