A very popular genre for web-based content is stop motion animation. This genre spans gorgeous films to social media posts created with mobile devices. How do you create a stop motion animation? In this video, author Richard Harrington demonstrates how to add music and sound effects to the stop motion animation.
- I'd like to make this have a bit of sound in it,…so I've downloaded some music and sound effects,…accessing some great websites for Creative Commons.…Now you can check these out, and thanks to the artists…who have shared us their source files to use here…to add a little bit of music, and some sound effects…to our finished piece.…Let's choose File, Import, File...,…And I'll navigate to a folder here called Sound.…Here there are two MP3 files,…a music track, and a sound effect.…
I'll choose Open, and we've got a little sound effect here,…and it is a stinger, let me load that.…(cymbal crashing)…You hear a little crash there.…I wanna use that as the flower is pretty much resolved.…So they come in, right about there.…And as the wheel finishes, I think that's a great place…for the sound effect to kick in.…
So let's drag that down, and we'll place it right there.…Alright, let's go ahead and invoke a preview here,…at Quarter quality.…You'll see that the frames start to load, and turn green.…And this is just loading them into memory…
