Adding and modifying transitions
In this movie, we're going to continue our video project which we started in a previous movie. And we'll begin by digging a bit deeper into transitions. Yet, before we begin, let's open up some more space for the Timeline panel. Position your cursor over the dividing line between the Timeline panel and the document window and the click and drag. In this way, we have more space, or we have more area so we can focus in on. The different layers that we have here are text and also the video file. Next let's add a few transitions. I'll do that by clicking on this icon here. I'll start off by creating a transition which fades with black. Here we'll control the duration, make that a little bit shorter, and then we'll click and drag this onto the video layer. You can change a transition further by clicking on it, and I'll go ahead and change this by dragging it to the left. Next I want to fade in the text file.
