Now we’re going to apply the link color to the elements in the main story group. We want the color layer SmartObject to cover the bold text to make it look like a hyperlink. We’ll do the same process. We’ll also create a clipping mask for an Illustrator SmartObject icon. Then we’ll link the color layer and icon layer. Once these layers are linked, you can transform them together.
