Join Chris Orwig for an in-depth discussion in this video Adding a frame to a photograph (CC 2014.1), part of Photoshop CC 2016 for Photographers: New Features.
- So far in this chapter we've taken a look…at how we can do some pretty wacky…and zany things like render out trees or fire.…Well here in the last movie in the chapter…I want to highlight a new feature which is…a little bit more normal or subdued.…We're going to be working with this photograph…of my daughter and one of her best buds.…Here we're going to be looking at a new filter…which allows us to render out a frame…around our photographs.…In order to do this we'll be clicking…into the layer titled frame, just a blank empty layer.…Next we'll navigate to the filter pull down menu.…Here we're going to choose render, and then choose…picture frame, again, that's filter, then render,…then picture frame.…
When we click on picture frame we'll see…a dialogue which is similar to the dialogues…we've seen previously where we have a preview…and then some controls on the right.…We have a number of presets here.…The preset selected by default is happy vine,…but you can also choose different things.…You can choose these and you can customize…
