Adding cross-dissolves and fades, and creating custom shortcuts
In this movie, we're going to dig deeper into this project, and in particular, we'll look at how we can add transitions. And we'll look at how we can use the cross dissolve transition. We'll also explore how we can add a custom audio track, and then, create our own custom keyboard shortcuts in order to speed up our work flow. (INAUDIBLE) first, let's add a few transitions. What we can do is click on this icon here, and then, choose a transition like Fade With Black. I'll just click and drag and drop that to the beginning of the clip. Click into that transition. You have to select it by clicking on it and then click and drag to change the duration. What you always want to do too is test this out to make sure the transition looks good. Moving down the time line we have this clip which changes right here. Well that's kind of a harsh change so I want to add a cross dissolve. Click on the icon right here and choose Cross Fade, and we’ll click and drag and drop that in this location. Now…
