Adding color to your type
- [Instructor] Let's look at some approaches for changing the color of our type. Here I have three layers. I'm going to come to the first of them. So one technique is you can double click on the type layer thumbnail, and that will select the type with the type tool. And then using your tool options, click on the color swatch, and we can change the color in this way. Now the problem with that really is because the type is selected it makes it harder to evaluate the result. So as an alternative, you can just select the type layer and come to the character panel. And if you use the swatch on the character panel, we can better evaluate the new color. A third approach is to select the layer and then just change your foreground color using the color picker and then the keyboard shortcut option or alt and the backspace delete key. Let's say that you wanted to change the color of all three layers together. Well then you could from the layers panel, select all three of those layers. Come to…
