Adding color to the cheeks and eyelids

Now that we've made some corrections to this picture by quote, adding makeup, in Photoshop, here what I want to do is look at how we can bring in some color. In particular, I want to focus in on adding a little bit of color to the cheeks, and also I want to bring out the color in the makeup here. In order to do that, we'll be working with two different adjustment layers. We'll create a Color Balance adjustment layer, and also a Solid Color adjustment layer. All right! Well let's start off with this area up here, and let's start off by clicking on the Color Balance icon in the Adjustments panel.

Next what I want to do is, as I mentioned, just bring out some of the color here, so I'm going to click and drag these sliders until we can see a nice color in this part of the image. Currently, the color is affecting the whole photograph, which is obviously what we don't want. So to fix that, we could go to the Masks panel, and click the Invert button, or you could pres...
