Add texture with a dual brush

- [Instructor] In this movie, I am going to use a Dual brush. This is where you take one brush and you paint it within the shape of another, and the reason I want to do that is so that I can paint these hearts and have them all be slightly different from each other. So, the first step is to create the texture and then to put that texture inside another brush shape, and the other brush shape is the Heart, which is derived from a vector shape layer. So, here is my blank canvas, my starting point, which is just a solid color fill layer and I'm going to start out by coming to my Extensions and to Adobe Paper Texture Pro, and I want to use one called Elysium, and they are in alphabetical order, if you just hover over them, the name of the texture should appear. I'm just going to click to apply that and it is applied in the Overlay blend mode, which, since it's on black, is making it appear invisible. I'm going to change this to the Normal blending mode.
