Add a glowing neon shape
- Photoshop makes it really easy to add a shape to an image and then apply a neon glow to that shape using layer effects. I'm going to add a triangle shape. So from the toolbar, I'll choose the triangle shape tool. I want to set the fill to nothing and add a white stroke set to 20 pixels, and I'll just click and drag out in the image area. If I want to constrain it so that all of the sides are the same, I can hold down the Shift key, but you can drag whatever shape triangle you'd like. Then in the properties panel, in order to flip this, I will click on the flip vertical option and then tap Enter or Return, in order to commit to that size. In the layers panel at the bottom, I'll click on the effects icon and start by adding an inner glow. I'll set the blend mode to normal and the opacity to 75%.
