If you’re familiar with George R. R. Martin’s epic Game of Thrones, you know that the area north of Castle Black is sometimes called the Land of the Always Winter. It is cold and gloomy by design. The White Walkers, for unknown reasons, have made it this way. So it is incumbent upon Deke to take his model so far and mask him away from his white surroundings and place him against an unimaginably grim backdrop that involves the Clouds and Motion Blur filters. This is the most intense step in the entire process.
