783 Actioning a full-color hedcut in Photoshop

- Hey, gang, this is Deke McClelland. Welcome to Deke's Techniques. Back in 2018, I released episode 723, creating a faux headcut in Photoshop all about creating a headcut effect a la the Wall Street Journal. Later I thought wouldn't it be great if I could automate the entire process using an action? Well, guess what. I have. Open this image and only this image. It needs to have a white background. It needs to be close-up, and it helps if the person has very smooth skin. Bring up the Actions panel. Click the fly-out menu icon. Choose Load Actions. Find this file. Click open. Make sure this dreamstime layer is active. Select the all headcut action. Click the play button. Cross your fingers. It should turn out like this. If something goes wrong or you want to learn more, stay tuned for the followup movie, episode 784, Recording an Action to Play All Actions. Deke's Techniques each and every week, keep watching.
