In late September of 2018, Deke went cage diving with a robust community of perhaps as many as 300 individual great white sharks off the coast of Isla Guadalupe, an island measuring just 94 square miles and located 250 miles southwest of the city of Ensenada, Mexico. Armed with his Canon 70D and its underwater Nauticam housing, Deke got some great photographs. Naturally, they required some cropping and development in Camera Raw, or—if you prefer—Lightroom.
