778 Freeform gradient limitations: Deke's Techniques

Deke would be the first person to tell you that freeform gradients are wonderful, but there are a couple of surprising limitations. Switching from linear or radial to a freeform gradient sets down a whole new set of colors, meaning that—at least for now—Illustrator CC makes no attempt to convert your previous settings to the new ones. Q: Why can't I earn a Certificate of Completion for this course?

A: We publish a new tutorial or tutorials for this course on a regular basis. We are unable to offer a Certificate of Completion because it is an ever-evolving course that is not designed to be completed. Check back often for new movies.
