389 Developing a sweetly romantic tropical island

- Hey gang, this is Deke McClellan.…Welcome to Deke’s Techniques!…Now you know, it’s almost Valentine’s day,…and what could be more romantic…than a tropical island?…Which is why last week I showed you how to merge…a bunch of noisy frames from a GoPro movie…in order to create this smooth image here.…This week we’re gonna develop that image…and smooth it out further using the “Camera RAW” filter…that’s included with Photoshop CC.…And then, in the end, we’re gonna…bring out the color.…Doesn’t it just make you want to run away?…With Photoshop.…

Come on.…Let me show you how.…Alright, here’s the final version of the image,…just so you have a chance to see it on screen.…Alas, we’re gonna be starting inside…of this image here.…I’ll press the “F” key in order to switch away…from the fullscreen mode, followed by “CTRL + 0”…or “CMD + 0” on a Mac,…to center my zoom.…Now if you take a look at the “Layers” panel, you’ll see…that we have this layer called “15 frames.”…It’s actually a smart object,…as indicated by this tiny page icon…
