Join Deke McClelland for an in-depth discussion in this video 351 Saving your effect as a color lookup table, part of Deke's Techniques.
In this brief movie, I'll show you how to take…the effects of the adjustment layers…that we created in the previous movie…and save them out as a single custom color…look up table that you can then turn around…and apply to any image you like.…But there is one caveat, and that is…that this technique only works with…the most recent version of Photoshop CC.…It is not an option in CS6 and earlier.…So assuming that you've got an image open…with a handful of adjustment layers,…then you don't need to worry about…which adjustment layer is selected.…
You just go up to the file menu, choose export,…and then choose color look up tables.…And next, you'll see this style log box here…that's asking you for the name of the file.…You can also add a copyright statement if you like.…I recommend that you leave all of these options…set to their defaults so that you're saving…four versions of your file,…and then just go ahead and click OK,…at which point you'll get this export dialogue box.…I've gone ahead and saved out all of my files…
