Layers challenge in Photoshop Sketch
- Okay, so now it's time to consolidate those drawing and layer skills in this short challenge in which we're going to work from a piece of drawing reference and make something that is symmetrical. I have a new document open in a new project and it's roughly four to three aspect ratio so I've actually chosen the iPad for this one and that's probably the best orientation to choose. Although, of course, that is entirely up to you. I'm then going to make the background active by tapping on the layer thumbnail for that and then I'm going to tap the plus on the right-hand side and add an image layer. Now, I'm going to be bringing this in from my creative cloud files. You'll have access to the file I'm using here if you are a premium subscriber to the Lynda.com online training library. Although you can of course use any file of your own. And as long as you followed the direction to copy them into your creative cloud files they'll be there.
