Developing your layer skills
- [Instructor] Okay, so it's time to beef up those layer skills and explore the options we have with Transformation. So what I'm going to do first is I'm going to duplicate a layer, create an exact copy of it. And to do that, I'm just going to tap on the layer on the right-hand side. If you can't see it, then the Layers button at the top, tapping on that will show and hide those. If I tap on that, I'm simply going to chose Duplicate like so. Okay? Now I've got an exact copy of that. I'm going to tap on that and chose Transform. Let's drag that out of the way first of all, so you can see the two side by side. So scaling's the quickest thing for me to do. Just grab any one of the corners and pull that in an out like so. You only need one finger to do that. To spin it around, that's a two-finger operation. You put two fingers down and then just twist it around however you want it to be. Now at the bottom of the screen, you've got some controls for flipping on the horizontal axis like so.…
