The Premiere Elements Favorite Moments tool gives you the power to select the best moments from a longer clip, building a custom-created movie from your favorite segments.
- A relatively new feature in Premiere Elements…is the Favorite Moments tool.…It's a workspace for taking a longer clip…and cutting away all but the best moments in it.…This is editing; of course it could be done…using other tools in the program.…For instance, earlier in this course we did…something similar using the clip monitor,…but the Favorite Moments tool makes…the process much neater, much easier,…and much more intuitive.…Let's see how it works.…I've got a clip on my timeline here…and if I scrub through it, you can see…it's actually a little over two minute clip…with a lot of short scenes in it.…
So, I'm going to select that clip,…go over to the tool bar on the right,…go to the Tool Kit, and from the video tools…select Favorite Moments.…The Favorite Moments workspace looks very similar…to the Time Remapping workspace…and some of the tools in here work similarly,…so for instance, if I want to create…a Favorite Moments segment, I position the CTI,…the playhead here to where I want it to begin.…Click on the "plus" button here on the playhead.…
