(cheerful music) - Welcome, my name is Chris Orwig. I'm a photographer and I'm on the faculty of the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. And in this training title, Photoshop CS4 Retouching Fashion Photography, you're gonna learn some skills that will literally take your retouching to the next level. Now, what exactly are you going to learn in this training title. We're gonna start off by focusing in on the small details.
We'll look at how we can clean up our images. Because we need to do that first, before we get to other enhancements. And then from there we're gonna start to look at others things like skin. How can we work on the skin? You know, sometimes in fashion and beauty photography we need to work on the skin in a way that it looks really natural so that we can see pores. Now other times we want our skin to look shiny and almost surreal. Now of course we're also gonna need to look at the eyes. How can we add a little bit of sparkle to the eyes? How can we brighten those eyes up? And also, how can we work on the makeup? Let's say we want to enhance or add makeup.
What if there's other things we need to do that are a little bit more corrective like work on structure or shape or fix teeth for that matter. We're gonna cover all of these topics and more. And I'm incredibly excited about what we have ahead of us so thanks for joining me on this one. Let's begin.
