The importance of working at 100% magnification
- You've seen many of the details, adjustments throughout the lessons as some of the finishing techniques, but what I'd like to do now is spend a bit more time working with these and go much deeper in detail so you understand the details. In order to do this, we're going to jump over to some images that really lack detail. And these images were mostly shot on a mobile phone. I will put a raw file in there though as well, so you see that all images benefit from these details enhancements however. So let's begin. Let's switch over here to the shots from the Valley of Fire and I'm going to select this image here, which is a JPEG file. Now when we look at this image, you get a pretty good overview right away on the screen, but you're not really seeing everything. You could of course pinch and zoom in, but you're not exactly sure the magnification level that you're zooming to. You see what happens is if you're not…
