Using extensions for lens correction

- The first category we're going to look at is lens distortion issues, and I really like this particular add-on, because unlike a lot of other photo editing tools, Photos for macOS doesn't really include any lens correction. Now, lenses naturally add some issues to pictures. They may introduce additional curvature or distortion caused by wider angle lenses, and they can have vignetting. Let me show you some of the options. The one we're going to do here is DxO's lens correction. Let's open up a nighttime photo here from the UAE collection, and I'll go to Edit. Now, you may not have this one installed, but you're welcome to download and try it out from the Mac App Store. If you're dissatisfied, Apple does allow you to request a refund. I'm going to choose DxO OpticsPro for Photos. It analyzes the image and attempts to recognize the camera body and lens that was used. And it did, in fact, find it. A Panasonic GH4 body…
