Removing a color cast from a photo

- Sometimes a photo taken under different lighting conditions can pick up a colorcast. Maybe it's the environment, light reflecting off of a wall onto the subject. Or maybe your camera had the wrong white balance settings. In any case, there are two distinct ways to remove colorcast. Let's go ahead though and start with the first one, where one colorcast is just gently blending in with another. And this is quite simple to solve. Let's to to this photograph here, and we'll double click to open it. And go to the edit module. I'll click the auto button here, and further recover some of the highlights for the outdoors. And let's lift the shadows. Now in this case, what I notice is that the walls have a bit of a yellowish tint, which is fine, but it's being emphasized by the light, and that's also being reflected on the surface here.
