Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video Removing the Apple logo from a calendar, part of Creating Cards, Calendars, and Books with Photos for OS X.
- Just like you learned on the cards, it is possible to remove branding from the calendar. Instead of having an Apple logo on it, this is a pretty easy option to turn off. The last page of your calendar, is typically going to feature an Apple logo. If I zoom in here, you'll see it right at the bottom. Now, many people like this, and if you do, feel free to use it. If you don't, you can click on it, and press the Delete key to remove it. If you change your mind, and you want it back, clicking the Calendar Options button has a simple check box. This is where you decide to include the Apple logo, or deselect it to remove it.
Additionally, when you're in here, if you have a change of heart, you can change the theme. I'm gonna click Cancel here though, so we don't make any changes to the layout. All right, at that point, we've removed the branding, and I recommend that you just simply give this a look over. So what you can do is right click, and choose Preview Calendar. This will make a PDF file that's easy to review. Click the Full Screen button, and you can take a look through the pages. I recommend that you zoom this out a little bit, and you'll see each page in the calendar.
If you want, you can print these out so you can take a look at them and mark up any potential edits or changes. But, it looks like all of the images are where I told them to be, and I can see each page in this calendar. Looks good to me. So why don't we move on to finalizing this out.
